Welcome to My Wellness Library

My wellness journey has been driven by curiosity, personal experience and a need to understand the reasons behind health and healing.

Welcome to My Wellness Library

This space is where I share what I’ve learned—and continue to learn—about health.

This space is where I share what I’ve learned—and continue to learn—about health.

While I will share information related to skin health, this library goes deeper than that. Skin is often a reflection of what is happening inside the body, not something separate from it. What we put in and on our bodies is equally important.

I’ve always been someone who asks questions—about food, ingredients, and how they interact with the body. I assumed that if I kept asking why, I would eventually find clear answers. Often, I didn’t.

Without realizing it, that search for truth was already shaping my path. Long before I began making skincare products, I was moving toward a deeper interest in understanding health at its root. Tallow didn’t create my curiosity—it grew out of it.

I’ve always come back to one question: Why?

When I sat in doctors’ offices asking that question, I was often met with dismissal, vague answers, or frustration. What I would have respected most was simply hearing, “That’s a good question. I don’t know, but I’ll look into it and help you find an answer.” Instead, too often I left with my concerns brushed aside, reassured without explanation, or handed a prescription for a symptom when I was searching for the reason the symptom existed in the first place.

After enough of those experiences, I made a decision: if I wanted answers, I would have to seek them for myself.

That search changed everything.

It led me into deeper conversations about health—far beyond surface-level explanations. I began to see that many symptoms are not random, isolated problems to simply suppress, but signals that the body is trying to communicate something deeper.

I was surprised by how often curiosity itself seemed absent in spaces where I expected it most. Too often, the focus seemed to be following guidelines rather than asking deeper questions. That never sat right with me, because I believe the body is intelligent, and most symptoms have a reason worth understanding.

Through that search, I found many others who recognized the same truth: health is not divided into isolated systems. The body works as one interconnected whole.

Skin, gut, hormones, immune system, mind—they are all part of the same conversation.

And yet, we live in a world flooded with information and constant access to answers—or what appear to be answers. It can be incredibly difficult to know what to trust. What we read today may be contradicted tomorrow. Search results can be influenced by what is promoted, how information is framed, or what outcome someone hopes to achieve. Even trusted institutions are still human systems, and history reminds us that human systems are not infallible.

So where do we turn?

My advice is simple: keep learning. Keep questioning. Seek truth with humility and diligence.

If you do that long enough, you arrive at something deeper than just information. You find peace in knowing that not every answer comes quickly, but truth is worth pursuing.

The more I’ve learned, the more I’ve come to believe that health has been needlessly complicated. At its core, the principle is often far simpler than we’ve been led to believe:

Give the body what it needs to heal. Remove what it does not need. Then allow it to do what it was brilliantly designed to do.
